Unfilled Positions. 4.8.1 Where positions are created at the merged school that have no direct equivalent in the merging schools, such position(s) shall be advertised nationally in the Education Gazette and existing teachers may apply for them. Selection shall be on merit with no automatic right to such positions.
Unfilled Positions. Any position which is not filled by a teacher at the school 35 having the openings shall be posted on the District website along with any pertinent 36 information regarding the position(s).

Unfilled Positions. Unused department chair funds (e.g. if a school does not have any FTE in a listed area) may be used to augment the department chair discretionary fund, but not for any other purpose.
