Union Activities on Employer’s Time and Premises. The Employer agrees that during working hours, on the Employer's premises, and without loss of pay, the Union president, vice-president, association representative and grievance chairperson shall be allowed to do the following provided the Employer or its agent shall first approve any lengthy discussions and provided such discussions shall not substantially interfere with the employee's performance of his/her duties. However, during a discussion or conference, Association representatives will not be required to leave in order to return to work unless the meeting or conference is completed. A. Post Union notices in his/her own building. B. Transmit urgent communications authorized by the local Union or its officers, to the Employer, or its representative. C. Consult with the Employer, its representative local Union officer, or other Union representatives concerning the enforcement of any provisions of this Agreement.
