Common use of Union Indemnification Clause in Contracts

Union Indemnification. The Union shall indemnify, defend and save the Employer and the County harm- less against any and all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability (monetary or otherwise) and for all legal costs that shall arise out of or by reason of action taken or not taken by the Employer and the County in complying with the provisions of this Ar- ticle. If an improper deduction is made, the Union shall refund directly to the employee any such amount.
