Common use of Unit Definition Clause in Contracts

Unit Definition. A. The District recognizes the Council as the sole and exclusive representative for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours, and conditions of employment, as set forth in the Oregon law, for all academically licensed employees including licensed teachers, licensed school counselors, school psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, licensed early childhood specialists, speech pathologists and similar positions employed under contract by the District. B. Substitutes and part-time licensed professionals employed on an hourly or daily basis, administrative, classified and all other employees are excluded from the bargaining unit and from the terms of this agreement.
