Common use of University Initiated Grievances Clause in Contracts

University Initiated Grievances. a) In the case of a University-initiated grievance, the University shall submit its grievance in writing to the President of the Association. A formal grievance shall be submitted within fifty-six (56) days of the occurrence of the incident giving rise to the grievance or within fifty-six (56) days from the date of reasonably becoming aware of the incident.
