Use Of Family And Medical Leave (FML) Entitlement. a. If an employee eligible for FML takes a leave for an FML-qualifying reason (as defined in Section B. below), the absence from work shall be deducted from the employee's FML entitlement. b. If an employee is ineligible for FML or has exhausted her/his leave year entitlement for FML and requests leave for a serious health condition that would qualify as a disability, an approved disability leave of absence may be provided for the period(s) an eligible employee is absent from work for verifiable medical reasons as provided in Section C. and Section D. of this Article.
