Use of Personal Automobile. A. The Board will purchase excess liability insurance to cover employees voluntarily transporting students in their car to and from Board authorized activities approved by an administrator. Insurance will be a minimum of $300,000 per person bodily injury and property damage. B. Bargaining unit members will obtain the permission of the Superintendent prior to using their personal vehicle. Travel shall be reimbursed in accordance with the IRS mileage rate for use of their personal vehicle.
