Use of Restraint or Isolation. Limitations Except in the case of emergencies, no employee will be expected to implement isolation and restraint procedures without proper training. Pursuant to RCW 28A.600.485, teachers may use restraint or isolation on a student only when reasonably necessary to control spontaneous behavior that poses an imminent likelihood of serious harm. Restraint or isolation must be closely monitored to prevent harm to the student and must be discontinued as soon as the likelihood of serious harm has dissipated. Teachers shall document any use of restraint or isolation as required by state law and District policy and shall be available to explain the circumstances of such restraint to parents or advocates for students.

Use of Restraint or Isolation. Limitations. Except in the case of imminent danger, no employee will implement isolation and/or restraint procedures without current, proper training from the South Kitsap School District. “Restraint” is defined as physical intervention or force used to control a student, including the use of a restraint device to restrict a student’s freedom of movement. “Isolation” is defined as restricting the student alone within a room or any other form of enclosure, from which the student may not leave. Pursuant to RCW 28A.600.485, teachers may use restraint and/or isolation on any student only when reasonably necessary to control spontaneous behavior that poses an imminent likelihood of serious harm. Restraint and/or isolation must be closely monitored to prevent harm to the student and must be discontinued immediately if the student shows more distress or as soon as the likelihood of serious harm has dissipated. Teachers shall document any use of restraint and/or isolation as required by state law and District policy and shall be available to explain the circumstances of such restraint and/or isolation to parents or advocates for students.

  • DATABASE OF RESTRICTED SUPPLIERS 34.1 The process of restriction is used to exclude a company/person from conducting future business with Transnet and other organs of state for a specified period. No Bid shall be awarded to a Bidder whose name (or any of its members, directors, partners or trustees) appear on the Register of Tender Defaulters kept by National Treasury, or who have been placed on National Treasury’s List of Restricted Suppliers. On and after 180 days after the Effective Date, transfers to others may be made subject to compliance with or exemptions from applicable securities laws. In order to make any permitted assignment, the Holder must deliver to the Company the assignment form attached hereto duly executed and completed, together with the Purchase Warrant and payment of all transfer taxes, if any, payable in connection therewith. The Company shall within five (5) Business Days transfer this Purchase Warrant on the books of the Company and shall execute and deliver a new Purchase Warrant or Purchase Warrants of like tenor to the appropriate assignee(s) expressly evidencing the right to purchase the aggregate number of Shares purchasable hereunder or such portion of such number as shall be contemplated by any such assignment.

  • Use Restriction (a) If a natural disaster, incident or any other emergency situation occurs or is likely to occur, SORACOM may restrict the use of the SORACOM Air Global Service by the Subscriber in order to give priority to communications whose content are necessary for the prevention of or relief from calamities, for the securing of transportation, communications or electric power supply, the maintenance of public order or any other public interest.

  • General Use Restrictions Licensee shall not use, copy, merge, or transfer copies of the SOFTWARE or the Documentation except as may be expressly and specifically authorized in this Agreement. Licensee shall not knowingly take any action that would cause the SOFTWARE to be placed in the public domain.
