Common use of Vacant Job Sharing Position Clause in Contracts

Vacant Job Sharing Position. (a) If one (1) of the job sharers leaves the partnership, the vacant half of the job sharing position shall be posted and selection shall be made in accordance with the Collective Agreement. (b) If the vacant half of the position is not able to be filled than the shared position shall revert to a full-time position and posted and selection shall be made in accordance with the Collective Agreement. The remaining nurse shall vacate the position. She/he has the option of either applying for the full time position, exercising her/his seniority rights in accordance with Article 10.04 of the collective agreement or accepting a casual position, if such a position exists.
