Vacation Earnings for Partial Year. (a) Where employment is terminated, employees shall be granted earned and unused annual vacation pay or time calculated on a proportionate basis. (b) Any vacation taken but not earned at the time of termination will have the unearned portion deducted from the employee’s final cheque. In the event the final cheque does not fully repay vacation time taken but not earned, the employee will be required to pay back the outstanding amount.
