Common use of Vacation Entitlement in the First Fiscal Year of Employment Clause in Contracts

Vacation Entitlement in the First Fiscal Year of Employment. The month in which the employee commences employment shall be considered a complete month of service when the employee begins work on the first working day of the month. These employees shall be entitled to take, from that day to the following March 31, vacation leave with pay equivalent to her entitlement for each completed calendar month of service. Where an employee begins employment on a day other than the first working day of the month, such vacation earnings will be prorated for that month.
