Variable Schedule. For employees who normally work the majority of their hours on shifts where a shift differential applies, vacation time shall be paid with a shift differential on a pro-rated basis. This shall be determined according to the best approximation of the department supervisor as to the percentage of time the employee normally works that is subject to shift differential.
