Alternate Shifts. Where the Company may require an alternate shift, which may include hours less or greater than the above-mentioned shifts (a) to (b), all details of the shift(s) shall be worked out and agreed to with the local union prior to any implementation of the new shift. This shall include but is not limited to, vacations, statutory holidays, rest break and any other differences that normally would apply during the above shifts.

Alternate Shifts. The Company or the Union can request to meet to discuss alternate shifts. Both parties agree to meet, cooperate and work towards a mutual agreement.
Alternate Shifts. 1. An employee who is regularly assigned a shift of other than eight (8) hours or twelve (12) hours shall receive an additional sixty cents ($0.60) for each hour worked between 4:00 p.m. and midnight, and an additional seventy-five cents ($0.75) for each hour worked between midnight and 8:00 a.m. 2. Employees who are regularly assigned to a twelve hour shift that includes the hours between 0000 and 0600 shall receive $.75 per hour for each hour of the shift. Effective with the first payroll period of FY 2013-2014, this amount shall be increased to $1.00 per hour.
Alternate Shifts. The Company will determine the staffing requirements. In the event the Company desires to revise or establish the work schedule the Company shall discuss the matter with the Union at the district level at least four (4) weeks prior to the implementation period as described in Article 3.04. The parties shall endeavour to explore all alternatives. 3.03.01 The Union may propose an alternate schedule. Should the Union’s schedule meet the Company requirements, it will be implemented. Failing a suitable alternative, the Company’s schedule will be implemented. The schedule(s) will be published and posted in accordance with Article 3.04.
Alternate Shifts. Subject to clause 6.8, where there are positions of the same occupational classification which require employees to work on different assigned hours in a day, it will be permissible, under a mutual agreement between the Company and the Local Chairperson, to work alternate shifts, changing from one shift to another.
Alternate Shifts. (a) The Company may implement non-day shift shifts provided they are providing at least five (5) seven (7) Monday to Friday day shift positions as set out in 16.04 above. Alternate Shifts. The Hospital will provide the Association with the opportunity to meet with them to provide input prior to implementing any alternate shifts, (i.e., 10 hour/12 hour) on a given unit. If a different schedule is instituted for a particular unit, a nurse who is unwilling to change from an eight hour schedule and who was not hired with the understanding that she/he may be required to work a different schedule will be permitted to transfer to a vacancy for which she/he is qualified or would be qualified to transfer to with reasonable orientation. Regularly scheduled ten (10) and twelve (12) hour shifts will not result in overtime, except as provided in this Section 6.04 B. Ten hour shifts shall have two (2) paid fifteen (15) minute breaks and one (1) unpaid thirty (30) minute meal break. Twelve hour shifts shall have three (3) paid fifteen (15) minute breaks and one (1) unpaid thirty (30) minute meal break.

Alternate Shifts. A. In the event an employee is restricted to work forty (40) hours per week and overtime is worked in that employee's classification, the Company reserves the right to place the employee on a forty (40) hour per week schedule that requires working every other weekend. The hours of work shall be in accordance with 13.1 of this Article (unless modified by 13.5(B) below). The days worked shall alternate every other week. Monday through Friday one week and Tuesday through Saturday the following week. B. In the event conditions such as power utilization requirements or other similar conditions require that a portion of the plant work a schedule other than the one set forth in this Article, the Company reserves the right to establish an alternative work schedule (a shift that may fluctuate work hours during the normal workweek schedules, other than the normal work hours defined in 13.1 and 13.2) for a portion of the work force. The Company will furnish information regarding the need for the change upon request.
Alternate Shifts. Where there are positions of the same occupational classification which require employees to work on different assigned hours in a day, it will be permissible, where desired by employees and approved by the Hotel Manager, to work alternate shifts, changing from one shift to the other once each week.
Alternate Shifts. The Company agrees to not run a 4x4 shift in timberlands, for a period of 6 months, from the date of ratification of this Memorandum. By agreement between the Parties, the issue of Alternate Shifts has been referred to the Special Mediators (Xxxxx Ready and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx) for a final and binding resolution.
