Common use of Vehicle Specifications Clause in Contracts

Vehicle Specifications. 6.1.1 The Supplier shall provide manual transmission Vehicles for all hires (where possible) unless the Contracting Authority(s) has requested a Vehicle with automatic transmission. Automatic transmission Vehicles can be requested on the grounds of disability and/or duty of care where it would enhance safety. It is also acknowledged that Electric Vehicles and some other low emission technology Vehicles are automatic.
