Vehicle Markings. 1. Vehicle markings shall be consistent with California Civil Code sections 3273 et seq., which restricts the markings of certain vehicles used to provide contracted public health and safety services.
2. Emergency vehicles shall be equipped with appropriate lighting and reflective markings as defined by the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) Standard 1901 (2016) for vehicles.
3. Ambulance and Supervisor vehicles shall display the "9-1-1" emergency telephone number but shall not display any other telephone number or advertisement.
4. Ambulance and Supervisor vehicles shall be marked to identify the name of the Contractor.
5. Contractor shall not alter the overall design, color and / or lettering of its existing emergency response vehicles without MVEMSA approval. MVEMSA shall have the right to approve or modify the overall graphics design, color and lettering used for emergency response vehicles (which shall have a base color of white) purchased or otherwise introduced during the term of this agreement.

Vehicles which do not bear permanent markings may be temporarily marked as follows: (1) Signs, no longer than the vehicle door is wide, with a white or lighter background, showing the Contractor's name in one inch high, or larger, dark colored letters, may be made from sheet metal, cardboard or other suitable material and temporarily attached to the vehicle's front door panels so that the signs appear in the approximate center of each door panel. Words such as "Company," "Corporation" or "Division" may be abbreviated.
Vehicle Markings. Each patrol vehicle assigned to the District shall prominently display on the vehicle's exterior, the name of the CITY in three (3) to six (6) inch lettering, in accordance with the BSO standard vehicle markings.

d. Vehicles shall display the "911" emergency telephone number but shall not display any other telephone number or advertisement.
e. Ambulance and supervisor vehicles shall be marked to identify the name of the Contractor.
f. The EMS Agency shall have the right to approve or modify the overall design, color, and lettering used for emergency response vehicles and equipment in its sole discretion.
Vehicle Markings. 1. Ambulance vehicles used in providing contract services shall bear the markings "Contra Costa County Emergency Medical Services" in at least four (4) inch letters on both sides. Such vehicles shall display the "911" emergency telephone number and state "Paramedic Unit", on both sides.

2. Ambulances and other emergency vehicles used by contractor must be equipped with lighting and reflective markings in conformity with the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) Standard 1917 (2019), and all subsequent revisions or replacements thereof, then in effect for such vehicles at the time Contractor obtains such Ambulance or emergency vehicle.

Vehicles which do not bear permanent markings may be temporarily marked as follows: (1) Signs, no longer than the vehicle door is wide, with a white or lighter background, showing the Contractor's name in one inch high, or larger, dark colored letters, may be made from sheet metal, cardboard or other suitable material and temporarily attached to the vehicle's front door panels so that the signs appear in the approximate center of each door panel. Words such as "Company," "Corporation" or "Division" may be abbreviated; (2) No signs shall be attached to the vehicle's glass area for safety reasons.
Vehicle Markings. Each Washington Flyer Taxicab shall bear the number assigned to it by the Washington Flyer Taxicab operator’s company. The number shall be retained until the vehicle is retired. Flyer taxicab numbers may not be sold by anyone. Meters and other equipment required herein are subject to inspection by the taxicab operator’s company or by the Authority or its designated agent at any time. If the Washington Flyer Taxicab operator owns the vehicle, the operator may utilize plastic magnetic covers to cover the vehicle markings when the taxicab is out of service. All Washington Flyer Taxicabs shall be clearly marked and painted with the manufacturer's standard paint or equal, in accordance with Authority approved and copyrighted color (XX Xxxx) and design specifications. All vehicles shall be identically painted and permanently marked. A permanent three digit taxicab identification number, 3 inches high shall be affixed on the right rear trunk, and on the right and left front fenders 4 inches high. The Washington Flyer Taxi phone number (000-000-XXXX), 3 inches high shall be affixed on the left rear trunk. The Washington Flyer website “www.washfly” 3 inches high shall be affixed to the rear window opposite the center brake light if the vehicle is equipped with one. The letters “Washington Flyer Taxi”, the Washington Flyer Taxi phone number, and the Washington Flyer website (all 2 inches high) shall be affixed on the right and left front doors with the "Washington Flyer" logo 12 inches x 12 inches beside it (closest to the front of the vehicle). All number and letter vehicle markings shall be in Washington Flyer logotype. All vehicle markings shall be made of 3M Brand #580-10 Plus white reflective .0075 vinyl adhesive sheet. No bumper stickers, window decals or any other vehicle appliqué are permitted except stickers required under this Contract, by local jurisdictions or for parking at the operator’s residence.
Vehicle Markings. Taxicabs will have the color scheme and lettering identifying the vehicle as a “Taxi” with the Contractor’s logo on the front doors and rear panel, the taxi service telephone number on the taxicab topsign, and the vehicle number on the front and rear corners of the vehicle. Vehicles will be numbered as approved by the Authority. The Contractor’s website address is also displayed on the rear window outside of the main field of vision. The Contractor shall assure there are a sufficient number of taxicabs of the type, quantity, and quality as outlined below.
