Upon receiving a report of the student's violent behavior, the principal or other designated supervisor should make a suitable investigation and should facilitate a course of action that will best serve to maintain order and safety in the school setting. B. The principal may consider the teacher's recommendations in deciding what course of action, if any, should be taken. C. If the series of actions does not improve the violent misbehavior, the teacher may contact the principal or appropriate specialists to discuss alternative methods of discipline.
