Common use of Visiting Days Clause in Contracts

Visiting Days. A. A Teaching Staff Member, who submits a written request to do so, may, with the approval of the Director of Human Resources be authorized to be absent from assigned teaching duties without loss of pay, for the purpose of visitation of other school buildings within the Centerville City School System. B. A Teaching Staff Member, who submits a written request to do so, may, with the approval of the Director of Human Resources with the written approval (on a form provided by the Administration), in advance, of the Principal of the school involved, be authorized to be absent from assigned teaching duties without loss of pay, for the purpose of visitation of school buildings in other school districts, or for the purpose of visitation of school buildings operated by private schools. C. If a substitute is needed, an effort shall be made by the Administration to secure a substitute for the Teaching Staff Members visiting other schools as provided in 11.02(A) and (B).
