SALARIES - TEACHERS. A. The salaries of all teachers on guide covered by this Agreement are set forth in the Approved Salary Guide, hereto attached as Schedules F-I, F-2 and F-3, except when the employment increment or the adjustment increment, or both, are withheld. B. 1. Teachers employed on a twelve (12) month basis shall be paid in twenty-four (24) semi-monthly installments.
SALARIES - TEACHERS. 1. Teacher salary guides are attached hereto and made a part hereof as Schedules ▇-▇, ▇-▇, ▇-▇ and Schedule BA for Co-Curricular stipends. 2. Compensation for work outside of the normal work day shall be equal to one two- hundredths (1/200) of the teacher’s annual salary. Hourly rate of work outside of the normal work day shall be equal to one-seventh (1/7) of the daily rate. Compensation shall only be granted when work has been assigned or approved by the Superintendent. Examples shall include, but not be limited to curriculum, state monitoring activities and committee work.
SALARIES - TEACHERS. To the extent necessary, the Employer and Teacher agree that the following rates of pay satisfy the guarantee of basic periodic rate of pay in the Act over a period of 12 months. In the event that general salary increases and other related conditions in the Victorian Government sector reduce the Employer's competitive advantage in salary packages, the Employer will review its salaries in consultation with the Committee to ensure Employees are appropriately remunerated. In the course of reviewing salary packages consideration will be given to all available published documentation as follows, but not limited to:  Victorian State Government teachers’ salaries and conditions  Peer group schools’ salaries and conditions (i.e., Victorian metro, co-ed, private, student numbers, similar extra-curricular requirements etc.)  Victorian statistics on general teacher pay increases Subject to satisfactory performance, progression from point 0 to 1 and so on up to 9 takes place annually. Staff Appraisal will focus on positive feedback, achievements, professional development and skills development opportunities, and goals for following years. In the current model appraisal of a teaching staff Employee is every three years. Any performance or conduct concerns will be raised with staff during the year when they are identified
SALARIES - TEACHERS. A. The salaries of all those covered by this Agreement for 2009-2012 school years are set forth in Schedules A1-A4, which are attached hereto and made a part thereof. Schedules for Extra- Curricular, Athletic and other stipends and hourly rates are set forth in Schedules B1 & B2, C1 & C2 and D respectively, which are attached to and made a part thereof. B. No individual shall be advanced in salary, unless his/her service shall have been satisfactory and the Superintendent shall have recommended such advancement. The withholding of any advance in salary, for any given school year shall not create an obligation to restore such advancement. The Board, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, may restore the individual to the position he/she would have had if the advancement had not been withheld. If a staff member, currently “off-guide at Level Q,” earns additional credits during the contract period and advances from one column to another, the staff member shall have their previously approved salary at the former level increased by 5% if moving to MA and 4% if moving from MA to MA+30 or from MA+30 to MA+60. C. Teachers shall be eligible for a change in training level two times per year, September 1st and February 1st. It shall be the responsibility of any teacher employed by the district on September 1 of one year to notify the Superintendent in writing by December 1 of the same year regarding any change or contemplated change in training level for the following school year. Any teacher who begins employment subsequent to September 1 of any one school year must provide similar notification within three months after employment commences. In addition, evidence that such change is merited shall be submitted to the Superintendent not later than October 1 for a September change or March 1st for a February change and, if necessary, a new contract will be issued. D. A teacher who has been on a paid status (work or work plus paid sick leave) for two (2) full marking periods or one-half (1/2) of the work year plus one (1) day, shall qualify in the next school year for a full increase, subject to the provisions of Article XII(B). A teacher who is on a paid status for less than two (2) full marking periods or one-half (1/2) of the work year plus one (1) day, shall receive no increase for the following school year. E. Teachers who are veterans shall receive military service credit in accordance with State law.

  • SALARIES AND WAGES Contractor and any subcontractors must pay all salaries and wages due all employees performing Services under this Contract unconditionally and at least once a month without deduction or rebate on any account, except only for those payroll deductions that are mandatory by law or are permitted under applicable law and regulations. If in the performance of this Contract Contractor underpays any such salaries or wages, the Comptroller for the City may withhold, out of payments due to Contractor, an amount sufficient to pay to employees underpaid the difference between the salaries or wages required to be paid under this Agreement and the salaries or wages actually paid these employees for the total number of hours worked. The amounts withheld may be disbursed by the Comptroller for and on account of Contractor to the respective employees to whom they are due. The parties acknowledge that this paragraph is solely for the benefit of the City and that it does not grant any third party beneficiary rights.

  • Itinerant Teachers 18.01 Itinerant teachers shall be paid a travel allowance in accordance with Article 50 of the Teachers’ Provincial Agreement. 18.02 Itinerant teachers shall be scheduled a lunch period of not less than thirty (30) minutes, exclusive of travel time between schools. 18.03 Except under extenuating circumstances, no itinerant teacher shall be responsible for work at more than three (3) schools in any one (1) school day.

  • New Teachers No new teachers shall be hired for a vacancy for which a teacher on unrequested leave is certified.

  • Supervisory Employees ‌ For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria: a) Employees on Salary Schedule 01 who under Plan A "Nature of Supervision" have either Degree 3 (or higher) or its equivalent; b) Employees on Schedules 02 or 03 on condition they normally supervise other employees.
