Common use of Voluntary Alternatives Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Alternatives. Regularly scheduled weekend tours of duty or alternate consecutive work day schedules requested in writing by a nurse may be arranged by mutual agreement with the program manager, and shall not be subject to such time and one-half (1½) premium pay provisions described in Section 9.4 that are specifically waived by the nurse.

Regularly scheduled weekend Weekend tours of duty or alternate consecutive work day schedules 11 requested in writing by a nurse nurse, may be arranged by mutual agreement with the program manager12 appropriate department/division head and the Association, and shall not be subject to such time and one-half (1½) 13 premium pay provisions described in Section 9.4 that are specifically waived by Article 9 to which the nursenurse would otherwise be 14 entitled if the nurse was not being scheduled or working the alternative schedule.
