Common use of Voluntary Teacher Contributions Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Teacher Contributions. 12 Deductions for voluntary teacher contributions will be made with appropriate signed teacher 13 authorization for: 14 • regular CEA dues and assessments as described in Article 5.5; 15 • premiums for approved insurance and tax sheltered annuity programs and/or other benefit 16 programs designated by the Association, provided at least 10% of the Association membership 17 or 10% of district employees wish to participate, and provided the vendor is willing to execute 18 reasonable agreement protecting the District from any liability attendant to procuring tax 19 deferred annuities;;
