Common use of Volunteer Clause in Contracts

Volunteer. A volunteer shall mean an unpaid person whose role is to perform functions which enhance and complement efforts of staff toward resident/participant services and visitor/family support. Volunteers shall not be utilized in such a way as to cause any reduction of hours of any bargaining unit position, deletion of any bargaining unit position, or reduction in the current staff complement.

Volunteers shall who may or may not be utilized a bargaining unit member, who does not displace a bargaining unit member, who provides companionship, support or assistance to a supported individual and receives no compensation in such a way as any form, including expenses, stipends or honoraria, in return for their companionship, support or assistance. A Supported Person may incur costs related to cause any reduction of hours their portion of any bargaining unit position, deletion of any bargaining unit position, or reduction in the current staff complementexpenses related to an excursion.

Volunteer. A volunteer is any person who donates their time and efforts to the Employer in any way and shall mean include a person who is assigned to the Employer for the purpose of job or skills training. A volunteer is not an unpaid person whose role is to perform functions which enhance and complement efforts employee for purposes of staff toward resident/participant services and visitor/family support. Volunteers shall not be utilized in such a way as to cause any reduction of hours of any bargaining unit position, deletion of any bargaining unit position, or reduction in the current staff complementthis Agreement.
