WAITING TIME Those employees working on a project who are entitled to receive subsistence allowance shall be paid a lump sum as waiting time based on the applicable straight time rate provided for in the Schedules attached hereto as follows: 12.1 The equivalent of four (4) hours pay for any working day lost during the regularly scheduled work week. 12.2 If no work is performed on a holiday designated in this Agreement, no waiting time shall be paid. 12.3 Notwithstanding the provisions of 12.1 and 12.2, where the Employer has provided notice of a starting time to follow a period for which waiting time is payable, any employee who, except for reasons of illness or emergency, is not available for work at the said starting time, or who voluntarily terminates his employment prior to the next regularly scheduled pay day, shall forfeit any unpaid waiting time pay, PROVIDED, however, the Employer shall notify the Local Union of such forfeiture. 12.4 In no event shall waiting time payments provided for hereinabove be included in computing the hours of work on which overtime is payable.
Waiting Period All full-time employees who are actively working and have completed thirty (30) days service shall be enrolled for the coverages and benefits set forth in this Exhibit as a condition of employment.
HSR Act Waiting Period Any applicable HSR Act waiting period shall have expired or been terminated.
HSR Waiting Period The waiting period applicable to the consummation of the Merger under the HSR Act shall have expired or been terminated.
Waiting Periods All applicable waiting periods, if any, under the HSR Act shall have expired or been terminated.
Starting Time is the time that employees present themselves at their work- station and not the time that employees are in the amenities or in the car park.
Extra Trips a. Bus Drivers may be absent from driving part and/or all of their regular bus routes to take an extra trip. This will include Kindergarten route, shuttles, and noon Xxxxx Drivers. For Pay purposes the extra trip begins at the end of the driver's regular route. b. Regular Drivers desiring to take trips shall sign up at first Bus Drivers' Meeting held either prior to or on the opening day of school. Any Driver may join or remove themselves from the list at any time. All extra trips (Educational and Athletic/Group) shall be posted on one (1) list. c. Eligible Drivers shall be offered trips at a monthly field trip meeting on a seniority rotating basis. Between monthly meetings, trips shall be offered by phone or radio, on a seniority basis. d. If a Driver cancels a trip they agreed to drive, the trip will be offered to the next driver (who does not have a trip assigned) on a seniority basis from the canceled trip list. e. Drivers may not exchange trips. f. Drivers taking a group trip which involves an admission price and/or parking fee shall be covered by the group sponsoring the trip. g. In the event none of the eligible Drivers on the seniority rotation list are available to take a trip, the Drivers on the as-needed list will be asked. If no regular Drivers are available, then a Sub will be asked. If no Regular or Sub Drivers can take a trip, the Transportation Supervisor will appoint a Driver, starting with the least senior Driver on the DO WANT trips list. h. The Board may use the radio to contact Drivers for trips. Drivers must make the decision to drive or not to drive the offered trip within two (2) hours. i. If at all possible, the trips will be scheduled around two (2) weeks in advance. j. If a Driver shows up for a trip, and has not been notified the trip has been canceled, or a coach/advisor transports students, the Driver will be paid for two (2) regular hours and the driver will not be charged for the trip. k. If a Driver's trip date is changed, the scheduled Driver will stay on the trip. If the trip is canceled completely, the driver will be inserted next up the seniority rotation. The inserted driver shall not be taken out of rotation for forthcoming trips. l. If an Athletic Trip is canceled mid-event, the driver will be paid for the actual number of hours on duty; if rescheduled, the rescheduled event will be a new trip on the rotation list and the driver will be paid for the actual number of hours on duty. m. If a driver is on the insert list and already has a trip on the same day as a newly offered trip, the driver will stay on the insert list until a trip is offered for a day the driver is not already schedule to drive an extra trip. n. Any driver who cancels an extra trip two (2) or more times in a given month shall be skipped in the next rotation. o. Pay for extra trips will begin after the driver’s regular route time and will be at the driver’s regular rate of pay for up to two and one-half (2.5) hours for driver time and pre-trip. The remaining portion of the route will be at the Step 0 base rate. p. Overnight trips shall be considered special trips with reimbursement determined on an individual basis. q. Drivers on Leaves of Absences are not eligible for extra trips. r. Drivers are not eligible for extra trips on days on which they have called in and are off.
Waiting List On a first-come, first-served basis governed by the date of receipt of an Application or Letter of Intent, BellSouth will maintain a waiting list of requesting carriers who have either received a Denial of Application or, where it is publicly known that the Premises is out of space, have submitted a Letter of Intent to collocate. BellSouth will notify the telecommunications carriers on the waiting list that can be accommodated by the amount of space that becomes available according to the position of the telecommunications carriers on said waiting list 6.8.1 In Florida, on a first-come, first-served basis governed by the date of receipt of an Application or Letter of Intent, BellSouth will maintain a waiting list of requesting carriers who have either received a Denial of Application or, where it is publicly known that the Remote Site Location is out of space, have submitted a Letter of Intent to collocate. Sixty (60) days prior to space becoming available, if known, BellSouth will notify the Florida PSC and the telecommunications carriers on the waiting list by mail when space becomes available according to the position of telecommunications carrier on said waiting list. If not known sixty (60) days in advance, BellSouth shall notify the Florida PSC and the telecommunications carriers on the waiting list within two days of the determination that space is available. A CLEC that, upon denial of physical collocation, requests virtual collocation shall be automatically placed on the waiting list. 6.8.2 When space becomes available, WebShoppe must submit an updated, complete, and correct Application to BellSouth within 30 calendar days (in Mississippi, 30 business days) of such notification. WebShoppe may accept an amount of space less than its original request by submitting an Application as set forth above, and upon request, may maintain its position on the waiting list for the remaining space that was initially requested. If WebShoppe does not submit such an Application or notify BellSouth in writing as described above, BellSouth will offer such space to the next CLEC on the waiting list and remove WebShoppe from the waiting list. Upon request, BellSouth will advise WebShoppe as to its position on the list.
Trial Service Period An employee who has satisfactorily completed their probationary period and who is subsequently appointed to a position in another classification shall serve a twelve (12) month trial service period, in accordance with Section 10.1.3. 10.4.1 The trial service period shall provide the department with the opportunity to observe the employee's work and to train and aid the employee in adjustment to the position, and to revert such an employee whose work performance fails to meet required standards. 10.4.2 An employee who has been appointed from one classification to another classification within the same or different department and who fails to satisfactorily complete the trial service period shall be reverted to a vacant position within that department and classification from which the employee was appointed. 10.4.3 Where no such vacancy exists, such employee shall be given fifteen (15) calendar days' written notice prior to being placed on a Reversion Recall List for their former department and former classification and being removed from the payroll. 10.4.4 An employee’s trial service period may be extended up to three (3) additional months by written mutual agreement between the department, the employee and the Union, subject to approval by the Seattle Human Resources Director prior to expiration of the trial service period. 10.4.5 Employees who have been reverted during the trial service period shall not have the right to appeal the reversion. 10.4.6 The names of regular employees who have been reverted for purposes of re- employment in their former department shall be placed upon a Reversion Recall List for the same classification from which they were promoted or transferred for a period of one (1) year from the date of reversion. 10.4.7 If a vacancy is to be filled in a department and a valid Reversion Recall List for the classification for that vacancy contains the name(s) of eligible employees who have been removed from the payroll from that classification and from that department, such employees shall be reinstated in order of their length of service in that classification. The employee who has the most service in that classification shall be the first reinstated. 10.4.8 An employee whose name is on a Valid Reversion Recall List for a specific job classification who accepts employment with the City in that same job classification shall have their name removed from the Reversion Recall List. Refusal to accept placement from a Reversion Recall List to a position the same, or essentially the same, as that which the employee previously held shall cause an employee’s name to be removed from the Reversion Recall List, which shall terminate rights to reemployment under this Reversion Recall List provision. 10.4.9 An employee whose name is on a valid Reversion Recall List who accepts employment with the City in another class and/or department shall have their name removed from the Reversion Recall List. 10.4.10 A reverted employee shall be paid at the step of the range which the employee normally would have received had the employee not been appointed.
Excess Travelling Time As well as the above-mentioned Fares allowance, excess travelling time is payable if the work site is beyond 50 kilometres from the workshop or registered office. Where an employee is required to travel to a job site outside the 50 kilometres from the Employer’s registered office or depot the employee will be paid the following: • A payment for time travelled in excess of the 50 kilometres with a minimum payment of a quarter of an hour. The rate will be: – Ordinary time Monday to Friday – Time and one half on Saturday and Sunday – Double time on public holidays • It is agreed between the parties that travel for the purposes of clause
