Common use of Waiver of Accrual Maximum Clause in Contracts

Waiver of Accrual Maximum. If annual leave request is denied and, as a result, the employee would lose annual leave because the accrual maximum is reached, the employee may accrue and retain annual leave in excess of the maximum for a six (6) month period following the initial denial, provided the excess leave is scheduled and used during the extension period.
