Work After Shift Ends. 1. An employee required to work overtime beyond the end of his/her scheduled shift, shall receive not less than four (4) hours pay at base hourly rate or one and one-half (1½) times their base hourly rate plus one and one-half (1½) times applicable shift differential for such work performed, whichever is greater. 2. It is understood that Section 12 (c)(1) of this Article does not apply to an employee who may be required to remain on assignment due to the absence or tardiness of another employee who is scheduled to relieve him/her, or to an employee who is held on the job up to the end of the scheduled shift.
