Common use of Work Experience Participation Clause in Contracts

Work Experience Participation. If Contractor is a nonprofit or governmental agency or institution, each of Contractor's locations in Suffolk County at which services are provided under this Agreement shall be a work site for public-assistance clients of Suffolk County pursuant to Local Law No. 15-1993 at all times during the term of this Agreement. If no Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Suffolk County Department of Labor for work experience is in effect at the beginning of the term of this Agreement, Contractor, if it is a nonprofit or governmental agency or institution, shall enter into such MOU as soon as possible after the execution of this Agreement and failure to enter into or to perform in accordance with such MOU shall be deemed to be a failure to perform in accordance with this Agreement, for which the County may withhold payment, terminate this Agreement or exercise such other remedies as may be appropriate in the circumstances.
