WORK OUT OF RANK. Section 30.1. For the purpose of this section only, the Patrol Bureau and the Detective Bureau will be counted as two (2) separate bureaus. When it is deemed necessary by the Chief of Police or his designee that an upgrading is necessary, the upgraded position will be made from within the ranks of the affected division (Patrol or Detective Bureau). The bargaining unit member receiving the temporary upgrade shall be paid at the appropriate rate of pay for that upgraded position.

  • Project/Milestones Taxpayer is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service provider. In consideration for the Credit, Taxpayer agrees to hire full-time employees and invest in computer and research and development equipment, software licenses, and furniture and fixtures as part of its expansion in Fullerton, California (collectively, the “Project”). Further, Taxpayer agrees to satisfy the milestones as described in Exhibit A (“Milestones”) and must maintain Milestones for a minimum of three (3) taxable years thereafter. In the event Taxpayer employs more than the number of full-time employees, determined on an annual full-time equivalent basis, than required in Exhibit A, for purposes of satisfying the “Minimum Annual Wage of California Full-time Employees Hired” and the “Cumulative Average Annual Wage of California Full-time Employees Hired,” Taxpayer may use the wages of any of the full-time employees hired within the required time period. For purposes of calculating the “Minimum Annual Wage of California Full-time Employees Hired” and the “Cumulative Average Annual Wage of California Full-time Employees Hired,” the wage of any full-time employee that is not employed by Taxpayer for the entire taxable year shall be annualized. In addition, the wage of any full-time employee hired to fill a vacated position in which a full-time employee was employed during Taxpayer’s Base Year shall be disregarded.

  • Work Plan Coordinate a work plan including a list of the proposed meetings and coordination activities, and related tasks to be performed, a schedule and an estimate. The work plan must satisfy the requirements of the project and must be approved by the State prior to commencing work.

  • Project Schedule Construction must begin within 30 days of the date set forth in Appendix A, Page 2, for the start of construction, or this Agreement may become null and void, at the sole discretion of the Director. However, the Recipient may apply to the Director in writing for an extension of the date to initiate construction. The Recipient shall specify the reasons for the delay in the start of construction and provide the Director with a new start of construction date. The Director will review such requests for extensions and may extend the start date, providing that the Project can be completed within a reasonable time frame.
