Detective Bureau. Seniority will be followed through each unit. The Union will be responsible for implementing and conducting the call in procedures with the approval of the Employer, which shall not be unreasonably denied.
Detective Bureau. Assist Detectives in those cases that do not require physical activity beyond light-duty capacity.
Detective Bureau. All sworn Employees of the CID shall work a 42- hour week schedule, with work hours between 0700 hours and 2400 hours.
Detective Bureau. The County and the Sheriff agree that within the Midland County Sheriff’s Office there may be an investigative unit referred to as the Detective Bureau. The Sheriff agrees that Detectives assigned to the Detective Bureau shall conduct criminal investigations.
Detective Bureau. The Bureau Commander will announce the selection procedure for establishing an eligibility pool from which Officers may be selected for assignment as an investigator within the Bureau. Announcement will be made 30 days prior to the start of the selection process. Transfers into this Bureau are limited to hours of work and not to a particular job assignment.
Detective Bureau. Officers regularly assigned to the Detective Bureau shall receive extra compensation at the rate of $1,500 per year.
Detective Bureau. The members of the Detective Bureau covered by this Agreement will work four (4) consecutive ten (10) hour shifts and have three (3) days off each week, subject to rescheduling by the Chief in a week where the Detective is scheduled to appear subject to a subpoena. Members will select their shift assignments and vacation bids based on seniority as an investigator, with all such time while serving as an investigator with the Police Department counting toward seniority. The members will have a 50-minute paid meal break and two (2) 10-minute paid "coffee" breaks during their shift.
Detective Bureau. The CITY shall maintain a Detective Bureau which shall function and perform as a division independant of the Uniformed Division and be staffed by its own appropriate supervisory personnel. This Bureau shall consist of not less than six (6) detectives.
Detective Bureau. The Township will provide Bargaining Unit members, while assigned to the Detective Bureau, with replacement or repair of shoes and pants. Accepted this day of , 2007. Post Paid July 1 for prior July Fiscal Year $500.00 Traffic Post Paid July 1 for prior July Fiscal Year $250.00 Officer(s) benefit will be prorated for Traffic and Detective bureau receiving this on-call payment. The chief, or his/her designee, has the option to assign, or eliminate the assignment, of carrying a cell phone, pager, or beeper at any time, for the Traffic Officer(s) or Detective(s). Under no circumstances will the City pay more than $500.00 to any one detective or $250.00 to any one traffic officer in a fiscal year.
