Common use of Work Week Defined Clause in Contracts

Work Week Defined. The work week for employees, except Residents, is five (5) eight-hour days, or a total of forty (40) hours, between 12:01 a.m. on Sunday and 12:00 midnight on Saturday. However, when operational requirements require deviations from the usual pattern of five eight-hour days, an employee may be scheduled otherwise to meet operational requirements.
