WORKERS' CONDUCT/CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES. The General Contractor and all subcontractors are required to comply with all base Building specifications. A copy of the base Building specifications can be reviewed at the Property Management Office by appointment. No alcohol, drugs or persons under the influence are admissible on the premises at any time. Pursuant to the City of Houston Tobacco Smoking Ordinance, there will be no smoking permitted in the Building. No abusive language, actions or radios will be permitted. It will be the responsibility of the General Contractor to enforce this regulation on a continual basis. Contractor shall confine the use of the premises to the designated construction work area so as not to disturb other tenants in the Building. Workers in an occupied lease space must wear a uniform that clearly identifies their employer. The carrying of firearms of any kind in any leased premises, the Building of which such premises are situated, any related garage, or any related complex of buildings of which the foregoing are in part, or any sidewalks, drives, or other common areas related to any of the foregoing, is prohibited except in the case of unconcealed firearms carried by licensed security personnel hired or contracted for by tenants for security of their premises as permitted by such tenants for security of their premises as permitted by such tenants leases or otherwise consented to by Landlord in writing.

A copy of the Base Building Specifications will be made available to Tenant's and/or Tenant's general contractor upon delivery of a request therefor to the Property Manager at xxxx.xxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxx. No alcohol, drugs or persons under the influence are admissible on the Leased Premises at any time. There will be no smoking permitted in the Building. Contractor shall confine the use of the Leased Premises to the designated construction work area so as not to disturb other tenants in the Complex. The carrying of firearms of any kind in any Leased Premises, the Building of which such Leased Premises are situated, any related garage, or the Complex, or any sidewalks, drives, or other common areas related to any of the foregoing, is prohibited except in the case of unconcealed firearms carried by licensed security personnel hired or contracted for by tenants for security of their Leased Premises as permitted by such tenants for security of their Leased Premises as permitted by such tenants leases or otherwise consented to by Landlord in writing.

  • FAIR PRACTICES The Union agrees to maintain its eligibility to represent all employees by continuing to admit persons to membership without discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex or marital status and to represent equally all employees without regard to membership or participation in, or association with the activities of any employee organization.   • Work Practices Where the Employer provides overtime, a minimum of one hour shall be provided which shall be worked. When on Employee and the Employer mutually agree, less than an hour overtime may be worked, which shall then be paid pro rata for overtime worked. Overtime shall be offered on a fair and equitable basis with an agreed roster being observed at the Refinery.

  • SAFETY PRACTICES (a) i Employees requiring glasses must wear glasses, preferably with safety lenses instead of contact lenses while on the job site. ii W.C.B. approved safety footwear must be worn at all times while on the job site. iii Employee attire will be in conformance with W.C.B. Regulation and the Employer’s policy.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH WORKERS' COMPENSATION ACT Contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Montana Workers' Compensation Act while performing work for the Department of Montana in accordance with 00-00-000, 00-00-000, and 00-00-000, MCA. Proof of compliance must be in the form of workers' compensation insurance, an independent contractor's exemption, or documentation of corporate officer status. Neither Contractor nor its employees are Department employees. This insurance/exemption must be valid for the entire contract term and any renewal. Upon expiration, a renewal document must be sent to the Department’s Contracts Management Bureau, X.X. Xxx 000000, Xxxxxx, XX 00000.

  • Policies and Practices The employment relationship between the Parties shall be governed by this Agreement and the policies and practices established by the Company and the Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”). In the event that the terms of this Agreement differ from or are in conflict with the Company’s policies or practices or the Company’s Employee Handbook, this Agreement shall control.

  • Security Practices Dell has implemented corporate information security practices and standards that are designed to safeguard the Dell’s corporate environment and to address: (1) information security; (2) system and asset management; (3) development; and (4) governance. These practices and standards are approved by the Dell CIO and undergo a formal review on an annual basis.

  • SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF PROPERTY The Contractor shall at all times: A. Initiate, maintain and supervise all safety precautions and programs in connection with its services or performance of its operations under this contract. B. Take all reasonable precautions to prevent injury to employees, including County employees and all other persons affected by their operations. C. Take all reasonable precautions to prevent damage or loss to property of Orange County, or of other Contractors, consultants or agencies and shall be held responsible for replacing or repairing any such loss or damage. D. Comply with all ordinances, rules, regulations, standards and lawful orders from authority bearing on the safety of persons or property or their protection from damage, injury or loss. This includes but is not limited to: o Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) o National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) o National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) o American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) E. The Contractor shall also comply with the guidelines set forth in the Orange County Safety & Health Manual. The manual can be accessed online at the address listed below:

  • Employment Practices Contractor agrees to abide by the following employment laws: (i)Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000e) which prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment or any applicant or recipient of services, on the basis of race, religion, color, or national origin; (ii) Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex; (iii) 45 CFR 90 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of age; (iv) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disabilities; and (v) Utah's Executive Order, dated December 13, 2006, which prohibits unlawful harassment in the work place. Contractor further agrees to abide by any other laws, regulations, or orders that prohibit the discrimination of any kind by any of Contractor’s employees.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS The Contractor, it’s Subcontractors, and their respective employees, shall comply fully with all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental laws, ordinances, rules and regulations in the performance of the services, including but not limited to those promulgated by the City and by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In case of conflict, the most stringent safety requirement shall govern. The Contractor shall indemnify and hold the City harmless from and against all claims, demands, suits, actions, judgments, fines, penalties and liability of every kind arising from the breach of the Contractor’s obligations under this paragraph.
