Offices may be re-allocated during extended leaves after consultation with the academic staff member taking leave. Academic staff members shall be provided with suitable office furniture. Office furniture and services includeequipment for members with medical disabilities shall be given first priority. The University shall provide ergonomic information, but are not limited to: - library resourceseducation and assessments as required. The University, through the OHS committee, will conduct ergonomic risk assessments, as prescribed in the Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 1996; - office facilitieswhen required to assess ergonomic concerns and needs of academic staff. Ergonomic assessments requested by Academic staff, including computerswill be initiated through the OHS Committee, university-licensed office software, access who will forward their recommendations to the Internet University for response and email, and technical support; - secretarial services; - printing services; - teaching and research assistance (where appropriate); - laboratory space and equipment (where appropriate); - telephone services, including voice-mail (or other messaging service);implementation.

The College has a marking policy to support academic staff. The College will make every reasonable effort to provide full-time and part-time academic staff members with fully-enclosed private offices. Sessionals teaching on- campus courses may be assigned appropriate shared office space. Non-routine requests related to the above shall be made to the Xxxx. The Xxxx shall reasonably attempt to accommodate such requests. 11.3 The College acknowledges its responsibilities under health and safety legislation. It is understood that unforeseen circumstances may adversely affect the physical environment within the College. The College will undertake measures to deal with such circumstances as soon as practical. 11.4 The College shall arrange for the provision of ergonomic information, education and assessments. Requested ergonomic assessments will be conducted by the University’s occupational health and safety office. Academic staff members shall be provided ergonomically appropriate office furniture if required as a result of the assessment. Members with medical disabilities shall be given first priority. The College has established a budget for these purposes.
