Common use of Working Hours Clause in Contracts

Working Hours. Design Professional and its subconsultants shall comply with California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815, including but not limited to: (i) restrict working hours on public works contracts to eight (8) hours a day and forty (40) hours a week, unless all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day are compensated at not less than 1½ times the basic rate of pay; and (ii) specify penalties to be imposed on design professionals and subcontractors of $25 per worker per day for each day the worker works more than eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week in violation of California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815.

Working Hours. Design Professional Consultant and its their subconsultants shall comply with California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815, including but not limited to: (i) restrict working hours on public works contracts to eight (8) hours a day and forty (40) hours a week, unless all hours worked in excess of eight (8) 8 hours per day are compensated at not less than 1½ times the basic rate of pay; and (ii) specify penalties to be imposed on design professionals consultants and subcontractors of $25 per worker per day for each day the worker works more than eight (8) 8 hours per day and forty (40) 40 hours per week in violation of California Labor Code sections 1810 sections1810 through 1815.

Design Professional Contractor and its subconsultants Subcontractors shall comply with California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815, including including, but not limited to: (i) restrict restricting working hours on public works contracts to eight (8) hours a day and forty (40) hours a week, unless all hours worked in excess of eight (8) 8 hours per day are compensated at not less than 1½ times the basic rate of pay; and (ii) specify specifying penalties to be imposed on design professionals and subcontractors of $25 per worker per day for each day the worker works more than eight (8) 8 hours per day and forty (40) 40 hours per week in violation of California Labor Code sections 1810 sections1810 through 1815.

Design Construction Management Professional and its their subconsultants shall comply with California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815, including but not limited to: (i) restrict working hours on public works contracts to eight (8) hours a day and forty (40) hours a week, unless all hours worked in excess of eight (8) 8 hours per day are compensated at not less than 1½ times the basic rate of pay; and (ii) specify penalties to be imposed on design professionals and subcontractors of $25 per worker per day for each day the worker works more than eight (8) 8 hours per day and forty (40) 40 hours per week in violation of California Labor Code sections 1810 sections1810 through 1815.

Design Professional Owner and its subconsultants contractors and subcontractors shall comply with California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815, including but not limited to: (i) restrict working hours on public works contracts to eight (8) hours a day and forty (40) hours a week, unless all hours worked in excess of eight (8) 8 hours per day are compensated at not less than 1½ times the basic rate of pay; and (ii) specify penalties to be imposed on design professionals and subcontractors of $25 per worker per day for each day the worker works more than eight (8) 8 hours per day and forty (40) 40 hours per week in violation of California Labor Code sections 1810 sections1810 through 1815.

Design Professional Lessee and its subconsultants contractors and subcontractors shall comply with California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815, including but not limited to: (i) restrict working hours on public works contracts to eight (8) hours a day and forty (40) hours a week, unless all hours worked in excess of eight (8) 8 hours per day are compensated at not less than 1½ times the basic rate of pay; and (ii) specify penalties to be imposed on design professionals and subcontractors of $25 per worker per day for each day the worker works more than eight (8) 8 hours per day and forty (40) 40 hours per week in violation of California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815.

Design Professional Sublessee and its subconsultants contractors and subcontractors shall comply with California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815, including but not limited to: (i) restrict working hours on public works contracts to eight (8) hours a day and forty (40) hours a week, unless all hours worked in excess of eight (8) 8 hours per day are compensated at not less than 1½ times the basic rate of pay; and (ii) specify penalties to be imposed on design professionals and subcontractors of $25 per worker per day for each day the worker works more than eight (8) 8 hours per day and forty (40) 40 hours per week in violation of California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815.

Design Professional LESSEE and its subconsultants contractors and subcontractors shall comply with California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815, including but not limited to: (i) restrict working hours on public works contracts to eight (8) hours a day and forty (40) hours a week, unless all hours worked in excess of eight (8) 8 hours per day are compensated at not less than 1½ times the basic rate of pay; and (ii) specify penalties to be imposed on design professionals and subcontractors of $25 per worker per day for each day the worker works more than eight (8) 8 hours per day and forty (40) 40 hours per week in violation of California Labor Code sections 1810 through 1815.
