Common use of Workplace Abuse Clause in Contracts

Workplace Abuse. The parties recognize that an employee may be subject to abuse in the course of his/her duties. Where an employee makes a written complaint of abuse to the Employer, the Employer shall conduct an investigation. Should the Employer determine that the complaint is justified, the Employer shall take such reasonable steps as it considers necessary in the circumstances. The Union shall give all reasonable cooperation with an investigation where the complaint is made against a member of the bargaining unit.
