Workplace Aggression. (a) Employees who, in the course of their duties, may be exposed to the risk of violence shall receive training at the Employer's expense. This training will include the means for recognition of the potential for violence, the relevant policies and procedures, the appropriate response to incidents of violence, including how to obtain assistance, and procedures for reporting, investigating and documenting incidents of violence. (b) The Employer shall provide the employee with the pertinent information relative to the potential for experiencing violence within any particular workplace. Where the Employer is aware that a client has a history of aggressive behaviour, the Employer shall make such information available to those employees who may be required to provide services to that client.
