Works in Roads and Footways. The Contractor shall be responsible for all Civil Engineering work included in his scope under this tender in roads and footways for those elements described above. Works for the implemen- tation of traffic signals system shall be carried out to minimize disruption to traffic and pedes- trians. Work in sections shall be completed and the road shall be reinstated and opened to traffic before work commences in the next section. Work in any section, including loading and unload- ing, shall be carried out in such a manner that traffic and utilities in the adjacent footway will be adequately maintained. Unless otherwise defined in the Contract, excavations shall be formed with a clean edge in such a manner that the adjacent road or footways, including edges are not damaged to ensure reinstatement to match and be continuous with the adjacent area. The Con- tractor shall be responsible for any excess reinstatement required arising from failure to provide a clean edge and any other remedial works specified by the BMC from failing to comply with this clause. Excavated material shall not be stored adjacent to excavations in roads or footways unless permitted by the Engineer. The excess of Excavated material shall be disposed off by the contractor at his own within time period specified in the guidelines of BMC for trenches, other- wise strict action as stated in the trenching policy will be applicable to the contractor. The Con- tractor shall ensure that excavations are fully supported at all times to ensure the safety of his own employees and the public. Inspection of supports shall be carried out by competent persons at regular intervals and remedial action taken immediately to correct any defects identified.

  • PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS Work being done under a resulting Authorized User Agreement may be subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the New York State Labor Law. SHORT TERM EXTENSION In the event a replacement Contract has not been issued, any Contract let and awarded hereunder by the State, may be extended unilaterally by the State for an additional period of up to 3 months upon notice to the Contractor with the same terms and conditions as the original Contract including, but not limited to, prices and delivery requirements. With the concurrence of the Contractor, the extension may be for a period of up to 6 months in lieu of 3 months. However, this extension terminates should the replacement Contract be issued in the interim. PROCUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS Authorized Users should refer to the documents attached as Appendix G – Processes and Forms Templates for specific instructions on the usage of this Contract.   • Access to Worksite 9.4.1 Authorized representatives of the Association shall have the right to transact official Association business on school property during regular school business hours provided that such activities or use do not interfere with classroom instruction or interrupt normal operations.

  • Access to Work Locations Reasonable access to employee work locations shall be granted officers of the Association and their officially designated representatives for the purpose of processing grievances or contacting members of the Association concerning business within the scope of representation. Such officers or representatives shall not enter any work location without the consent of the City Manager. Access shall be restricted so as not to interfere with the normal operations of the department or with established safety or security requirements.
