Xxxxxxx Club. Bank acknowledges that Consultant’s continued membership at and active involvement with Northampton Country Club will assist Consultant in the providing of the Consulting Services. Accordingly, Bank agrees to reimburse Consultant for the monthly dues and activity fees related to reasonable business expenses in connection with business development at Northampton Country Club for the calendar years 2020 and 2021 provided this Agreement is still in effect.    

Xxxxxxx Club. Farmers’ Club is an informal forum in the villages. It can be promoted in a village cluster of villages, generally in the Operational Area of a Bank. The Farmers’ Club should have minimum of 10 members. All villagers except wilful defaulters can become members of the club. The club must make endeavour to raise their own resources by way of contribution from members, undertaking certain business services such as bulk procurement of inputs and collective marketing of agricultural produce, etc. NABARD would provide financial support for the first three years and for the next two years the bank sponsoring the club may provide the support, if necessary. The club is expected to attain self sustainability in a period of 3-5 years. Any bank operating in rural area, including Commercial Banks (CB), Regional Rural Banks (RRB), & Cooperative Banks (SCB, SCARDB, PCARDB, DCCB and PACS) can sponsor and organize Xxxxxx’x Clubs. They can hire services of NGOs/ KVKs /Agriculture Universities, if required, for promotion of the clubs. All the clubs should have saving bank accounts with the bank. The broad functions of the Farmers’ Clubs would be to:  Coordinate with banks to ensure credit flow among its members and forge better bank borrower relationship,  Organise minimum one meeting per month and depending upon the need, there would be 2-3 meetings per month. Non-members can also be invited to attend the meetings,  Interface with subject matter specialists in the various fields of agriculture and allied activities etc., extension personnel of Agriculture Universities, Development Departments and other related agencies for technical know how upgradation. For guest lectures, even experienced farmers who are non members from the village/ neighbouring villages could be invited,  Liaison with corporate input suppliers to purchase bulk inputs on behalf of members,  Organize/facilitate joint activities like value addition, processing, collective farm produce marketing, etc., for the benefit of members. They can also sponsor / organize SHGs,  Undertake socio-economic developmental activities like community works, education, health, environment and natural resource management etc. Check Your Progress 2
