Common use of Xxxxxxxxx to Middle Management Clause in Contracts

Xxxxxxxxx to Middle Management. The Middle Manager shall have ten (10) calendar days in which to review and answer the grievance in writing after receipt. At the employee's option, a grievance meeting shall be held at this level. The employee's representative or xxxxxxx may be present at and participate in any such meeting. Nothing in this Section shall preclude the employee’s Shop Xxxxxxx and SEIU staff representative from both attending this meeting. If the grievance is not resolved at this level, the employee shall have ten (10) calendar days from receipt of the written answer within which to file an appeal to the Department Head. The time limit at this level may be extended by mutual agreement between Management, and the employee or his/her representative.
