A Shares definition

A Shares means shares issued by companies incorporated in the PRC and listed on the SSE or the SZSE, traded in RMB and available for investment by domestic investors through Stock Connect.

A Shares means a participating share of no par value in the capital of the Fund, denominated in US Dollars;

A Shares means any securities issued by companies incorporated in Mainland China which are listed and traded on Mainland China A Share markets (Shanghai and Shenzhen) and not on the SEHK.

Examples of A Shares in a sentence

• Any dividend payment made on the Class A Shares shall first be credited against the earliest Unpaid Dividends due with respect to such Class A Shares which remains payable.

• Delivery to BN or such Affiliate pursuant to this Section 4(c) shall be accomplished by the Rights Agent instructing the transfer agent for the Class A Shares to record the transfer of the Class A Shares from the Received Class A Shares Account to, and the ownership thereof by, BN or such Affiliate in accordance with the Applicable Procedures.

• Any Class A Shares received by the Rights Agent pursuant to Section 4(a) or Section 4(b) shall be delivered to the Received Class A Share Account.

• If at any such meeting the Class A Shareholders holding at least 10% of the outstanding Class A Shares as of the Record Date of such meeting are not present or represented by proxy within one-half hour after the time appointed for such meeting, then the meeting will be adjourned to such date not less than five days thereafter and to such time and place as may be designated by the chairman of such meeting.

• Should the Company elect to satisfy its obligation to redeem the Class A Shares by delivering the Cash Amount, then the payment of such amount shall be made in the manner set forth in §25.4. 25.22 §25.14 to §25.15 and §25.17 to §25.18 shall apply in their entirety, mutatis mutandis, to a redemption of the Class A Shares.

More Definitions of A Shares

A Shares means any securities issued by companies incorporated in Mainland China which are listed and traded, from time to time, on the Mainland China A Share market (i.e. the SSE or the SZSE) and not on SEHK.

A Shares means shares issued by companies incorporated in the PRC and listed on the SSE or the SZSE, traded in RMB.
