ABC Laws definition

ABC Laws means any laws applicable to the Contract relating to anti-bribery and anti-corruption matters (whether or not Buyer is subject to any such ABC Laws) including without limitation the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act 1977 (15 U.S.C. Section 78dd-1, et. Seq.), the United Kingdom Bribery Act 2010, and the Norwegian Penal Code of 2005, as amended from time to time.
ABC Laws has the meaning given to it in Section 4.2(b).
ABC Laws means all laws and regulations applicable to the Parties and this Agreement, that relates to bribery or corruption or money laundering, including (without limitation):

Examples of ABC Laws in a sentence

  • Supplier and Purchaser each acknowledge that Purchaser may suspend or terminate its business relationship with Supplier upon written notice to Supplier (a) if Supplier or its agents and/or representatives fail to comply with any of the obligations set forth above, or (b) if Purchaser has a good faith belief that Supplier and/or its representatives have violated, intend to violate, or have caused a violation of the ABC Laws and/or Trade Compliance Laws.

  • Supplier recognizes that Purchaser, from time to time, may perform its own internal audits with respect to Purchaser’s verification of its own compliance with the ABC Laws and/or Trade Compliance Laws.

  • The Supplier must comply with and ensure its Personnel comply with ABC Laws.

  • Seller further represents that it shall, and shall cause each of its affiliates to, cease all of its or their respective activities, as well as remediate any actions taken by Seller, its affiliates, or any of its or their respective Representatives, in violation of the ABC Laws.

  • Supplier agrees to comply in all respects with all applicable ABC Laws, and agrees it will not engage in or support any occurrence of bribery or other corrupt practices.


More Definitions of ABC Laws

ABC Laws means any applicable international, national, federal, state, municipal and local laws, orders, statutes, directives, decrees, treaties and regulations relating to anti- bribery and corruption legislation, including for the avoidance of doubt, the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the UK Xxxxxxx Xxx 0000, the UN Convention Against Corruption, Inter-American Convention Against Corruption, Group of States Against Corruption (XXXXX) and any applicable country legislation implementing the OECD Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions and any other applicable legislation enacted to enforce or implement any international convention prohibiting bribery and/or corruption.
ABC Laws means (a) the OECD Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions, 1997; (b) the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 of the United States of America, as amended by the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Amendments of 1988 and 1998 (the “FCPA”); (c) the Xxxxxxx Xxx 0000; and (d) any other applicable anti-corruption laws of any jurisdiction in which SBT and its Subsidiaries is conducting or has conducted business.
ABC Laws means all laws and regulations applicable to the Parties and this IP Agreement, that relates to bribery or corruption or money laundering, including (without limitation):
ABC Laws means: (a) any anti-corruption Law of the Commonwealth of Australia or the State of Western Australia (including any applicable written Law); (b) the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, Pub L No 95-213, §78dd-1 1977 Stat 149; (c) the Bribery Act 2010 (UK) c 23; and (d) any anti-corruption Law of a country which applies to the respective Parties or in relation to this Agreement (and the activities thereunder).
ABC Laws means all Applicable Laws relating to anti-bribery and anti-corruption, including the Prevention and Combatting of Corrupt Activities Act, 2004, or any other public and commercial anti- bribery laws or regulations which may apply, as well as any international anti-corruption treaties such as the OECD Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions and the United Nations Convention against Corruption;
