Acceptable Investments definition

Acceptable Investments means assets deemed acceptable as collateral by the Bank, as determined in its sole discretion, but in no event includes (i) less-than investment grade bonds, or (ii) securities not traded on a national exchange or over-the-counter market, or securities the trading of which has been suspended or otherwise limited.
Acceptable Investments means (a) Cash Equivalents, (b) U.S. treasuries or (c) single-A rated (by S&P and Xxxxx’x) corporate debt securities contained in the U.S. Corporate Index Group subset of the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Index (but excluding utilities and financial company issuers).
Acceptable Investments mean investments prescribed or permitted under the investment provisions of the insurance laws of Delaware and New Hampshire and under the URC Investment Guidelines.

Acceptable Investments means (i) commercial paper and variable or fixed rate notes issued by, or guaranteed by, any domestic corporation rated A-1 (or the equivalent thereof) or better by S&P or P-1 (or the equivalent thereof) or better by Moody's and maturing within 30 days of the date of acquisition, (ii) dollar denominated time deposits and certificate of deposits of NationsBank, N.A. with a maturity date of not more than 30 days after the creation thereof, and (iii) tax exempt securities either (A) carrying a rating of MIG 1 or better or (B) backed by an acceptable irrevocable letter of credit issued by a bank with a short term commercial paper rating of A-1 (or the equivalent thereof) or better by S&P or P-1 (or the equivalent thereof) or better by Moody's, in each case maturing within 30 days of the date of acquisition.
