Acceptance definition

Acceptance with respect to a Bid shall mean the City’s selection of a Bid, and award of a contract to the Bidder/Seller.
Acceptance as herein used means the acceptance by Orange County after the Manager, Procurement Division or authorized agent has, by inspection or test of such items, determined that they fully comply with specifications.

Acceptance as herein used means the acceptance by Orange County after the Manager, Procurement Division or authorized agent has, by inspection or test of such items, determined that they fully comply with specifications. Deliveries resulting from this bid are to be performed during the normal working hours of the County. Time is of the essence and the Contractor’s delivery date must be specified and adhered to. Should the Contractor, to whom the order or contract is awarded, fail to deliver on or before the stated date, the County reserves the right to CANCEL the order or contract and make the purchase elsewhere, and the Contractor shall be required to compensate the County for the difference in price paid for the alternate goods. The Contractor shall be responsible for making any and all claims against carriers for missing or damage goods. Partial shipments will be acceptable unless otherwise stated.
Acceptance means that the Agency has determined that one or more Deliverables satisfy the Agency’s Acceptance Tests. Final Acceptance means that the Agency has determined that all Deliverables satisfy the Agency’s Acceptance Tests. Non-acceptance means that the Agency has determined that one or more Deliverables have not satisfied the Agency’s Acceptance Tests.
