Acceptance of Work definition

Acceptance of Work means the Acceptance of work document issued by the Contractor to the Customer detailing the scope of the Services and other matters relating to an Engagement, and signed by both parties;
Acceptance of Work. The technique in the manufacturing, design or research and development of Party B will be applied in production. When Party A accepts them, if he finds such technique is not applicable or poor in quality, he may ask for improvement which Party B shall complete within 20 days for re-acceptance. If he cannot obtain acceptance, he is deemed as in breach of agreement, from which Party A can terminate this Agreement and refuse payment. The cost for such improvement is on the account of Party A.

Examples of Acceptance of Work in a sentence

  • In the event any policy furnished or carried pursuant to this Article will expire on a date prior to acceptance of the Work by NYSERDA pursuant to the section hereof entitled Acceptance of Work, the Contractor, not less than 15 days prior to such expiration date, shall deliver to NYSERDA certificates of insurance evidencing the renewal of such policies, and the Contractor shall promptly pay all premiums thereon due.

  • All invoices for final payment hereunder must, under any and all circumstances, be received by NYSERDA within six (6) months following Acceptance of Work pursuant to Section 6.02 hereof.

  • Acceptance of Work: Date the Notice of Completion is recorded at the Office of the County Recorder, Tulare County, California.

  • This will be a condition of the Final Acceptance of Work or Services and Related Warranty, if any.

  • Preparing a "Statement of Completion and Final Acceptance of Work" (Form 830435) is self-explanatory.

  • All Major Maintenance items shall be inspected and approved by the Site Coordinator per Section 6.4 Acceptance of Work and any service not approved shall be re-done at no additional cost to the contracting agency until completed satisfactorily.

  • Before starting and until Acceptance of Work by Participating Member, and without further limiting Supplier’s liability under this Agreement or a Participant contract, the Supplier shall procure and maintain, at is sole expense, insurance of the types and in the amounts stated below: Supplier’s Commercial General Liability policy shall remain in effect for at least two years after all work is complete.

Related to Acceptance of Work

  • Completion of work means completion of the entire contracted work. Exhaustion of quantity of any particular item mentioned in the bid document shall not imply completion of work or any component thereof.

  • Statement of Work means the description of activities performed in completing the Project, as specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • Cost of work , in table above, shall mean the agreement amount of the work.

  • Scope of Work means the description of Services and Deliverables specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • SOW means the document specifying, without limitation, the scope, objective, and time frame of the Work that Supplier will perform for Cisco.

  • Work Order means an individually negotiated document that is executed by both Parties and which authorizes a Project, if any, in an indefinite quantity Contract.

  • Type of Work means (insert the type of work you expect to supply the Agency Worker into);

  • Programme of work means the Programme of work submitted by the contractor and approved by the Engineer-in-charge and includes an amendment thereto made from time to time and approved by the Engineer-in-charge;

  • Scope of Works means the sections of the RFQ detailing the technical requirements of the work to be carried out as existing at the Date of Acceptance of the Quotation and any modification of such Works thereafter directed or the use of which has been permitted by the Superintendent for the purposes of the Contract.

  • Task Order means a separate order issued under this Contract.

  • The Work Order means the order placed by the Purchaser on the Supplier signed by the Purchaser including all attachments and appendices thereto and all documents incorporated by reference therein. The Work order shall be deemed as "Contract" appearing in the document.

  • Period of Work means the time during which an employee is at the disposal of the employer;

  • Project Deliverables means the Project deliverables set out in Schedule 2. Project Material means all the material including but not limited to documents, computer software, and data stored by any means which is created by the Fellow in the course of undertaking the Project.

  • Project Plan means the document to be developed by the Contractor and approved by WTL, based on the requirements of the Contract and the Preliminary Project Plan included in the Contractor’s bid. For the sake of clarity, the Agreed and Finalised Project Plan” refers to the version of the Project Plan submitted by the contractor after receiving the letter of Award and the same approved by WTL. The project plan may be changed/ modified during the course of the project. Should the Project Plan conflict with the provisions of the Contract in any way, the relevant provisions of the Contract, including any amendments, shall prevail.

  • Additional Work to mean additions or deletions or modifications to the amount, type or value of the Work and Services as required in this Contract, as directed and/or approved by the County.

  • start of works means the earlier of either the start of construction works relating to the investment, or the first legally binding commitment to order equipment or any other commitment that makes the investment irreversible. Buying land and preparatory works such as obtaining permits and conducting feasibility studies are not considered start of works. For take-overs, ‘start of works’ means the moment of acquiring the assets directly linked to the acquired establishment;

  • Design Services means architect services, engineer services or landscape architect services.

  • Stop Work Order means the written Notice, delivered in accordance with this Agreement, by which the State may require the Contractor to stop all, or any part, of the Work of this Agreement, for the period set forth in the Stop Work Order. The Stop Work Order shall be specifically identified as such and shall indicate that it is issued pursuant to the Stop Work provision in this Exhibit B.

  • Construction Service Agreement means either an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement or an Upgrade Construction Service Agreement.

  • Service Order Form means our standard Service Order Form for Services, or any other order form that we agree with you in writing that incorporates the provisions of this DPA;

  • Schedule of Work means that schedule attached to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement setting forth the timing of work to be performed by the Constructing Entity pursuant to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, based upon the Facilities Study and subject to modification, as required, in accordance with Transmission Provider’s scope change process for interconnection projects set forth in the PJM Manuals.

  • Development Schedule shall have the meaning set forth in Section 1.1.

  • Deliverables means the goods, services, and work product, including all reports and project documentation, required to be provided by Grantee to the System Agency.

  • New Work means any Services/Deliverables outside the scope of the Contract and not specifically provided under any Statement of Work, that once added will result in the need to provide the Contractor with additional consideration.
