Account Provider definition

Account Provider means us or an External Available Account Provider, as applicable;
Account Provider means an entity that has been procured by the state treasurer and approved by the governor and council to hold student accounts, based upon a finding that the entity is subject to suffi- cient governmental or regulatory oversight, and possesses suitable internal controls to ensure the safety and soundness of amounts held in student accounts.
