Administering Party definition

Administering Party means the Party to which the sentenced person may be, or has been transferred, in order to serve his or her sentence;
Administering Party means, which respect to each Province or Territory, the Party determined under clause 6.1;

Examples of Administering Party in a sentence

  • The Parties may, in accordance with the provisions of this Treaty, transfer a sentenced person to each other to enforce, in the territory of the Administering Party, the sentence imposed against the person.

  • If a sentenced person makes an appeal to the Administering Party after transfer, the Administering Party shall promptly notify the Sentencing Party and transmit the appealing documents to the latter.

  • Each Party shall inform in writing the sentenced person within its territory of the measures taken or decisions made by the Sentencing Party or the Administering Party upon the request for transfer in accordance with Article 5 and Article 6 of this Treaty.

  • The Administering Party shall, in accordance with its domestic law, continue to enforce the sentence imposed by the Sentencing Party pursuant to the category and the duration of the sentence as determined by the Sentencing Party.

  • If the Sentencing Party makes a decision, after retrial, to commute or grant pardon to the sentenced person, the Administering Party shall modify or terminate the enforcement of the sentence as soon as it is informed by the Sentencing Party.

  • Where the Administering Party requests, the Sentencing Party shall afford an opportunity to the Administering Party to verify, through a consular official, that the sentenced person has expressed consent in accordance with the conditions set out in the Paragraph above.

  • Either the Sentencing Party or the Administering Party may make a request for transfer.

  • The Administering Party has the right, in accordance with its domestic law, to commute the sentenced person or release the person on probation.

  • If the category and the duration of the sentence as determined by the Sentencing Party are incompatible with the laws of the Administering Party, the Administering Party may convert the sentence to the penalty prescribed by its domestic law for a similar offence for enforcement.

  • When converting sentence in accordance with Paragraph 2 of this Article, the Administering Party shall transmit a copy of the legal document on the conversion to the Sentencing Party.

Related to Administering Party

  • Administering Authority means a governmental employee, or a regional planning commission empowered under s. 62.234, Wis. Stats., that is designated by the Common Council to administer this ordinance.

  • Administering agency means the department, the county road commission, the county drain commissioner, or the city, village, or township that has jurisdiction over the public facility, as determined by the negotiating partnership. The administering agency will administer the development of the public facility.

  • Registering tribunal means a tribunal in which a support order or judgment determining parentage of a child is registered.

  • Self-administer means a qualified patient's act of ingesting medication to end his or her life in a humane and dignified manner.

  • Regulatory Oversight Committee means the committee of the Board constituted in accordance with Rule 204.

  • Administer means the direct application of a controlled substance, whether by injection, inhalation, ingestion, or any other means, to the body of a patient or research subject by:

  • Implementing Partner or “IP” means [full name of Implementing Partner, followed by address].

  • Program Administrator means the person retained by the Wisconsin PACE Commission as provided in subsection (5)(b).

  • Named Fiduciary means the Fiduciary or Fiduciaries named herein or in the Adoption Agreement who jointly or severally have the authority to control and manage the operation and administration of the Plan.

  • Program Executing Agency means the entity or entities responsible for the carrying out of the Program as specified in the Loan Agreement.

  • registering authority means the registrar of titles or anyone else required or permitted to record interests in property.

  • Non-Administrator Coordinated Home Care Program means a Coordinated Home Care Program which does not have an agreement with the Claim Administrator or a Blue Cross Plan but has been certified as a home health agency in accordance with the guidelines established by Medicare.

  • Independent Safeguarding Authority is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Home Office set up under the provisions of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 and which is responsible for the decision making and maintenance of two lists covering the children’s and vulnerable adults’ sectors

  • Independent Fiduciary means an independent fiduciary who will serve as a fiduciary to the Plan in accordance with Article 3 that has no relationship or interest in any of the Settling Parties and is mutually agreed to by the Settling Parties.

  • Implementing Agency means the "Division of Waste Management."

  • Implementing Entity means the [Implementing Entity] that is the party to this Agreement and the recipient of the Grant;

  • Subcommittee means a subcommittee designated by the Operating Committee pursuant to the CAT NMS Plan.

  • Project Implementing Entity means a legal entity (other than the Recipient or the Guarantor): (a) that is responsible for implementing all or a part of the Project; and (b) which is a party to the Project Agreement. If the Bank enters into a Project Agreement with more than one such entity, “Project Implementing Entity” refers separately to each such entity.

  • Appeal Committee means the appeal committee established by the Council in terms of section 12(3)(a);

  • Portfolio Administrator means any entity and any successor or replacement thereto, as specified in the Final Terms for each Series of ETP Securities, appointed as Portfolio Administrator in accordance with the terms of the relevant Portfolio Administration Agreement.

  • Zoning Administrator means the administrator of these rules who is appointed by the natural resources commission.

  • Participating Organization means an organization which elects to offer coverage under a Policy by completing a participation agreement that has been accepted by the Company.

  • Oversight Committee means the committee established to monitor the overall implementation of this Administrative Agreement as outlined in section 7 (Oversight Committee) of this Administrative Agreement.

  • Independent Committee means a committee of the board of directors of the General Partner made up of directors that are “independent” of Brookfield and its Affiliates, as contemplated by applicable securities Laws;

  • Sponsoring organization means any organization that establishes,

  • Implementing Authority means the Municipal Manager or his or her nominee, acting in terms of section 100 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act No. 32 of 2000.
