Examples of AIRC in a sentence
Once this agreement has been lodged with the Office of the Employment Advocate it will supersede all previous arrangements and its conditions unless specifically stated to the contrary will prevail over the Pastrycooks (Victoria) Award 1999 (“the Award”) or any other award of the AIRC.
If an issue is not settled by observance of this procedure, or if the procedure is disregarded by either party, the matter may be submitted to the Victorian Building Industry Disputes Panel or AIRC for resolution.
In doing so, the AIRC may make suggestions and conduct an initial assessment of the dispute.
If the dispute is unable to be resolved at the workplace level, following Stages One to Four, the dispute may be referred to the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC) for mediation/conciliation.
If the dispute remains unresolved, the dispute will be submitted to the AIRC for arbitration.
