Penalty Rates. 24.2.1 The following do not apply to Locomotive Running Employees or Train Controllers: • Any time worked on Saturday: Time and a half • Any time worked on Sunday: Double time • Any time worked between 2000 -0600 hours Monday to Friday Time and a quarter
24.2.2 Where the time you work qualifies for more than one of the overtime or penalty rates specified above only the higher rate shall apply.
Penalty Rates. 22.1 Permanent Employees (other than casuals) shall be paid at the rate of time and a- quarter for all ordinary hours of work on a Saturday and/or Sunday.
22.2 Casuals Employees shall be paid in accordance with clause 12 for all ordinary hours of work on a Saturday and/or Sunday.
22.3 All work performed outside the ordinary hours of work in clause 24, will be paid in accordance with clause 26.
22.4 Where an Employee works on a public holiday, the Employee will be paid in accordance with clause 39.
Penalty Rates. An employee required to work ordinary hours on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday will be paid a penalty in addition to your ordinary rate as follows:

5.26.1 This clause applies to all general employees who work shiftwork (other than Boarding Supervisors whose hours of work provisions are outlined in Schedule 14).
5.26.2 The following shift definitions apply:
(a) “day shift” is a shift which starts and finishes wholly within the spread of ordinary hours identified in clause 15.19.4;
Penalty Rates. 25.1 In this Clause a span refers to a period or periods as follows: Day span 0600 hrs to 1800 hrs Monday to Friday Day shift span Ordinary hours worked during Day span when shift commences before 0530 hrs or concludes after 1830 hrs Monday to Friday Night span 0000 hrs to 0600 hrs and 1800 hrs to 2400 hrs throughout the period from 0000 hours Monday to 2400 hours Friday Permanent night span More than 66.667% of ordinary hours worked in the roster cycle are between 0000 hrs and 0600 hrs Saturday span 0000 hrs to 2400 hrs on a Saturday Sunday span 0000 hrs to 2400 hrs on a Sunday Public holiday span 0000 hrs to 2400 hrs on a public holiday
25.2 Only one penalty rate can apply at any time, if more than one span applies to a shift, the higher penalty rate will apply. Penalty rates do not apply to overtime.
25.3 Penalty rates
Penalty Rates. The employer and the employee recognise the operating hours of the business includes evenings and weekends. In recognition of these hours, the employee’s ordinary rate of pay has been increased to compensate for penalty rates. The employees will receive this higher rate of pay for all hours worked including weekdays, evenings and weekends. The employee(s) and the employer agree that this provision excludes the operation of protected award conditions which deal with penalty rates.
Penalty Rates. 25.1 Penalty rates and loadings for casual, flexible part time, regular part time and full time employees may be included in the calculation of the flat hourly pay rate. .
Penalty Rates. Each employee who is normally rostered to work ordinary hours on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays will be paid in accordance with the following: i Saturday – time and one half ii Sunday – double time iii Public Holidays – double time
Penalty Rates. 10.6.1 No higher rate of pay or loading applies to any work performed on Saturdays or Sundays.
10.6.2 No higher rate of pay or loading applies to any work performed on public holidays.
10.6.3 No higher rate of pay or loading applies to any work performed between the hours of 7pm and 7am Monday to Friday.
Penalty Rates. (a) All ordinary time worked between 7am and 7pm on Saturday shall be paid at the rate of time and one half.
(b) All ordinary time worked between 7pm Saturday and midnight on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double time.
