Alternate Board Member definition

Alternate Board Member means an alternate Board Member, appointed from among a CAB District’s Board of Directors and authorized to serve on the CAB Board in the event such CAB District’s regular Board Member is unable to attend a Board Meeting or is no longer qualified to serve.
Alternate Board Member has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2(a).
Alternate Board Member means a person appointed by the Council(s) of a benefiting municipality of the Elgin Area Primary Water Supply system in accordance with this Bylaw.

More Definitions of Alternate Board Member

Alternate Board Member shall in the absence or incapacity of the "Primary Board Member" for his or her "Participating Governmental Unit" have all of the rights and duties of such "Primary Board Member" including, but not limited to, the right to participate in and vote at all Board, Finance Committee, Steering Committee and other committee meetings, but an "Alternate Board Member" shall not have any of the rights and duties of a chairperson or other officer.
