Amateur Player definition

Amateur Player means any player (other than an Academy Player) who is registered to play or intends to be registered to play for a Club and who is registered with the Football Association as an amateur in accordance with the FIFA Regulations for the Status and Transfer of Players;

Amateur Player means any person other than a professional player;

Amateur Player means any Player who is not a professional golfer at the commencement of the relevant competition.

• Any Professional Player who ends their playing career upon expiry of their contract, and any Amateur Player who ceases to play Association Football, shall remain registered with the Association in the name of the Player’s last Club for a period of thirty (30) months from the day the Player made their last appearance for the Club in an Official Match.

• The ability for an Amateur Player to change Clubs outside the period in Rule 7.7.4 solely at the discretion of CF.
