API Service definition

API Service means an API (application programming interface) for a discrete unit of programmatic functionality that is exposed for remote consumption and managed through the Software. Examples of API Services include a data transformation microservice or a billing API.

API Service the hosting infrastructure, access and services related to the online delivery of the Software Product, or any part thereof. “Software Product” - any computer programs, applications or scripts created by us and used or accessed by you, directly or indirectly, including all functionality described in the Documentation, or any part thereof. “Malevolent Code” – code, files, scripts, agents or programs intended to do harm, including, for example, viruses, worms, time bombs and Trojan horses.

API Service means the service whereby the Client may transmit Encrypted instructions or other information to ICICI Bank for processing under the Terms and Conditions using the ICICI API platform;

Examples of API Service in a sentence

• The API Service is granted by the Company to the Customer, with subject to the restrictions set in these Terms of API Service, by a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable, limited license to only as necessary develop, test, use and support the Application with the Service.

• The Company does not guarantee that the API Service is usable at any given time or that the API Service would work flawlessly.

• The Customer may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, or syndicate access to API Service.

• Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, any potential liability of the Company, regardless of its nature or the form of action prompting it, shall at no point exceed the aggregate amount paid by the Customer to the Company for the API Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the initiation of such claim.

• The Company does not guarantee the uninterrupted and continuous operation of the API Service.

More Definitions of API Service

API Service means the API services accessed from the On-Line Ordering Service, being the Public Sector API Service and the Open API Service.

Matching & Cleansing Transaction means an Address Transaction made via the API Service internally or externally by End Users (to the extent permitted by the relevant OS Licence) using the applicable API Data to search for matching addresses and/or cleansing such addresses within databases. PAF Data has the meaning given to it in the Royal Mail PAF Solutions Provider Licence.
