Appraisal experience definition

Appraisal experience means appraisal related experience obtained by performing fee and staff appraisals, ad valorem tax appraisals, condemnation appraisals, appraisal reviews, appraisal analyses, real estate consulting, highest and best use analyses, feasibility analyses or studies, and by teaching appraisal courses;
Appraisal experience means time spent in developing and reporting a real property appraisal. It is not intended to include “drive time” to and from the subject property, nor the time spend driving to inspect comparable sales.Otherwise, time spent discussing the assignment with the client, inspecting the property, market data research, assessor and tax record research, anal- ysis, report writing and time spend in reviewing the report with the trainee’s supervisor are all to be included. In each case, the Board is interested in knowing how many hours the trainee actually spent in appraisal develop- ment and reporting for that specific assignment.
Appraisal experience means experience obtained by the performance of appraisals, appraisal reviews, appraisal consult- ing assignments, or mass appraisals in accordance with the Uni- form Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice in effect at the time the experience is obtained.

  • Ms Appraiser Intern appraisal tasks hours cannot be included as Appraisal experience hours for a certified license.

  • Appraisal experience shall be of the type for which the applicant is seeking a license or certification.

  • Appraisal experience acceptable toward licensing or certification can be from any state but must have been gained under the supervision of an appraiser who is certified at a level equal to or greater than the license or certificate the applicant is seeking.

  • Appraisal experience performed before January 1, 2011 should be converted using the formula of one point equals 8.33 hours.

  • Appraisal experience should include serving as expert witness at property condemnation proceedings.

  • For objective reasons (for example, quarantine, martial law, illness, internship abroad), training can take place online with the agreement of the course leader.

  • Independent Financial Expert means a U.S. investment banking firm of national standing in the United States, (i) which does not, and whose directors, officers and employees or affiliates do not have a direct or indirect material financial interest for its proprietary account in the Company or any of its affiliates and (ii) which, in the judgment of the board of directors of the Company, is otherwise independent with respect to the Company and its affiliates and qualified to perform the task for which it is to be engaged.
