Appropriate child care definition

Appropriate child care means child care which is provided by a person or organization qualified
Appropriate child care means child care, including infant, toddler, preschool, comprehensive early childhood education and school age, that is provided by a person or organization qualified, approved, and authorized by the State agency or agencies designated to make such determinations as set forth in this Part.

Examples of Appropriate child care in a sentence

  • Appropriate child care, or day care for an individual in the household who has a disability (see OAR 461-001-0000 and 461-001-0015 as applicable) that substantially reduces or eliminates the individual's ability to care for himself or herself, cannot be obtained.
